Message from the President
Welcome to the Association of Caribbean Corporate Counsel ("ACCC"). As the President & the Founder of the ACCC, let me share with you our mission and vision. We are the preeminent organization for networking and development of professional skills of corporate counsel covering 22 countries in the Caribbean.
Our mission is to provide a dedicated regional forum and a voice for all corporate counsel, helping to promote the professional interests of all Caribbean attorneys through education, networking opportunities and advocacy initiatives.
Our Caribbean Corporate Counsel, the official journal for the ACCC, sets the agenda for legal discussions that matter today to Caribbean’s corporate counsel. It is the only legal journal of its kind. We bring together the greatest International and regional legal and business minds to facilitate a culture of excellence among Caribbean corporate counsel. Through our international advisory board, regional advisory board, partners and affiliates, our activities and thought leadership extend beyond Caribbean borders.
ACCC delivers value to our members and our partners through our many programs and resources:
- ACCC 100;
- Caribbean Corporate Counsel;
- Networking Events;
- ACCC Series of Compilation of laws of the Caribbean
- Partnership with Bar Associations regionally & internationally
We will be launching a survey of members to ascertain your needs, concerns and priorities. We look forward to acting on the results of this survey. Through consultation with our international and regional law firm advisory board members we will always seek to determine how to enhance the in-house/law firm relationship.
As you can see we have a busy agenda. We are pleased to be able to bring you the services of the ACCC to help raise the standard of legal services by providing better access to resources, networking and training. The services we provide will be a benefit to all attorneys in the region. We look forward to working with each and every one of you in the future.
